Hi guys just picked up this beauty. 76 GMC K25 Sierra Grande. 350, 4-speed, 4wd 6" suspension lift. Just rebuilt the carb and got her running last week. Really happy everything works as well as it does for sitting so long (4 years). Interior needs some work but going to the bone yard this week to see what i can get.

Here's a pic of my '84 K10. I'm in the middle of putting a L31 Vortec into it. It will have a Performer intake, 1406 Edelbrock carb, Comp Cams XR258HR roller cam and long tube headers. Only have 31" Baja Claws for it right now but they are dur to be replaced next year. I put some GM 5 leaf springs in the back (possibly from a K20?) and had some custom 3 leaf springs made for the front. It has the SM465 and a NP205 T-case. Once I get through the engine build I'm going to start saving for some lockers as the rear is an open dif.

Just picked up this square body from a guy I used to work with. It is a 1986 GMC with about 40k on a semi built up 350 and rebuilt tranny as well. It has a 4 inch lift. It is a little rough here and there but I think it will make a nice toy. It is not my daily driver since I drive about 400 miles per week and it seems to get about 13 mpg. The truck has been local it entire life and I am the fourth owner. The body and frame has a little over 200k on it.

It is still in a mechanical state I'm not happy with and have that to deal with. I just tried to put my bumper on and dear lord what a mess that is!

I'll eventually put larger tires on it to make it not look so funny heh.

Here is my '85 Scottsdale. It now has a mild 454 and a built 350. The paint and most of the interior are original, except for a dash cover and the CD player.

Very nice job Big Daddy. Wheels look great and you can still use it as a truck.

Thanks for the complement. I had previously been into the 88-98 body style. I probably had 10 different trucks, Tahoes, and Suburbans. I just got it in my head one day, I wanted an older lwb, and this is what happened.

Something about the picture w the ralleys, looks lower or tires tucked better, kind of mean and stealthy at the same time..

Yes, mudman, the "rallys" were all 15x6 stock steel spares, with 235/75r15s. The new wheels are 17x8 with 265/60r17s. The 17s are an inch taller and 2 inches wider. I was kinda diggin the stock look until I saw how my paint job on the 17s turned out.

I agree, up close a different story with the 17's painted. either way, cool truck, stance is a huge upgrade..
