Guys, thanks for the support. Now sound like a loud wristwatch with the new mechanical valve tick, but it sure beats the alternative. Slowly getting better everyday which means closer to being able to go out to the shop.
Boy are my ideas flowing on what is to come on the project. Trevor

Just about ready to get back on it. I have been on a 10 lb lifting restraint since surgery and finally this week have been given the ok to workout with weights up to 20lb. I have to get to 40 lbs to be cleared to go back to work. Other than that, I am supervising my father and I's last build together, his 70 chevelle convertible. He helped me with my vehicles since '99 when we started my 70 SS, and I owe him to build his dream car. Trevor

That's good news and I'm the sure the old man appreciates it. I know my son is a big help and I really enjoy the time.

Looks like the same pics over and over, but I swear there is some progress. Been working on dialing in my door gaps on the passenger side. Also got the rockers screwed on and almost happy with everything on that side before solidifying it.

Got my rear suspension mocked up and wheelbase established. I just need to drill my holes to bolt the hangers on the frame for now. I will pull this bed off and do the drilling. Next up will be to put together my nicer bed and get it fit on the frame.

For my frame, I decided to use the 1973+ (K10-K20) spring hangers. This allows me to possibly fit shocks between my frame and leaf springs. They are 5 1/2 " to the edge of the leaf springs vs. the 4 1/2" that a 67-72 hanger or 77+ K30 hanger. They are also quite beefy compared to our leaf hangers.

Well, she rolls! Big step for me to get it turned around to finish the other side. Still got to finish the floor by the inner rocker and finalize the guts on my 4th door.

Looks great! Keep at it and it will be done one day. What's the plan for interior? I think tuck and roll leather would look killer
