Then its settled... this will be done. Only other question would be.. what fuel cell needs to be used that has the fill hole on the side?

I am using a Boyd's Tank but you could easily use a OEM Suburban/Blazer tank to save some money...

Thanks for the info. Money isn't the problem so much as the fab work.. but it does look fairly easy, sort of. Ill be moving on to the bed pretty soon, so we shall see.

I can make more, I just got so much crap from some guys on the board about it
I just let it lay
$10 Flat or $25 bent up

I'd be interested in 2 of the bent ones!!!!

Here's my version of a tail light fuel filler. I would have taken better pics of it as it went together, but my fab skills leave alot to be desired. It was fun though, and turned out ok I think. It still needs some fine tuning(rubbing, spring tension, paint, etc), but I'm satisfied so far. Filling the tank will be the real test. Thanks to you guys that helped with ideas and parts.

are you making these from time to time still?

No, I haven’t made any in a while now. Still working well though. Thanks

Wynne, does the guy that was building them with you have any for sale? Or, will he still build any?

c10crewcab.com has them listed for sale. Not cheap, but that’s the only place I’ve seen making them

Hugger did you ever get a printable template of your design?
I would love to be able to make one of these. Even just measurements for the pieces and where the bends are would be awesome.
