That 1950 Buick bumper guard grille almost has a GMC bulldog look to it. Had I not already settled on the 55 Buick floating bar on my truck, I might have tried that under the GMC grille instead (had I though of it)!

Look behind/in front of the cab. You can see where it was stitched.

I too am happy that beauty wasn't ruined in real life with a chopped roof.

He got crazy with the Sawzaw on that truck.. chopped the top, side mirror.. He'll even the brick and trees behind the truck too.. haha

OK, I'll admit my modifications are not what you would call earth shattering by any means compared to the other amazing work posted here. They perhaps fall under the more subtle category.
The modified V6 to 283 hood badges which I am rather proud of do make people ask if they are factory original however. As do the parking lamps, used the '58-'59 Chevy truck lamps since I wanted amber lenses and until recently nobody was reproducing the '60-'61 GMC hood clear parking lamp lenses. Bed sides were badly distorted, no budget to replace them so I skinned them in 1/8" diamond plate (which straightened them out nicely!) on the outside & rubber diamond plate on the inside of the bed. As you can see, I'm a bit of a diamond plate nut! Used some on the gauge & glove box area as well.

I cant say I like the flames on the orange but I have to say those are the best looking front and rear roll pans that I have seen on one these trucks.

Change that. Only good front roll pan.

Can't make out what they done as far as handles or arm rest.
