OverKill is flying a "holding pattern" while I complete my Powder Coat oven build. Solid roller 496 BBC is being assembled by Smith Racing of Denver right now. Edelbrock aluminum rectangle port heads H beam rods were selected amongst a bunch of other goodies! Should get up and get pretty well!!!

Yep...big enough for radiator supports and with my special built Diagonal rack will do bumpers up to 80" long.

No real updates other than Eagle (kit # 18022) 496 rotating assembly has been purchased and is at Smith Racing being put togther. Also bought a 1050 Dominator carb built by Chuck Nuytten Carbs. It is all blended and polished looks sweet!

Powder coat oven is almost done.

Three electric 3100 watt oven elements will heat the oven.

496 Short block is just about 100% assembled. Been feeding the Smith Racing engine builder mucho dinero and buying the rest of the engine parts...Holly 1050cfm 4500 dominator carb by Chuck Nuytten, intake edelbrock #2927, oil pan, pully's, valve covers. Cam is solid roller Comp Cam's - .652 Lift and .308 duration, Heads Edelbrock aluminum part #60559.... and have been powder coating as many parts as possible in Gloss Mirror Black. I will shoot a pic tomorrow. Here is the valve covers I chose.

yep Stoney, I have been busy spendin the toad skins building this BIG BLOCK and powder coating parts. Those are cool too Mike...more old style though, but definetly cool.

Yes I do. They are in Cast so I can powder coat them myself. Not selling them, sorry.

Thanks Jim! OverKill's powerplant should have plenty of motivation! I am told it should be above 650hp.
