Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
yea they look big!! sick!! wht is the specs? reverse lip or stantard lip?
|
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
The wheels specs are Raceline A.L. rolled lip fronts are 20x8.5" with 5.25 backspace anyone who is running a dropmember with 8.5" wide wheels should use that backspace per Nate the rears are 20x10 also with 5.25 backspace
The wheels might get some powder coating thinking either gloss black lip with matte black centers or a matte metallic grey center.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...7/14fad59f.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...7/a3225696.jpg |

Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
Thanks so much guys! the wheels are great and i got them at a great deal! thanks to Raceline Wheels. I wish i could run those flame valve covers but they are too tall i need to find a shorter set.

Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
thanks a ton guys!! i am planning on putting a nice size tire on them for sure!
I really like the size Mythstryker is running 20x8.5 Front - 245/35/20 20x10 Rear - 295/35/20 http://i738.photobucket.com/albums/x...r/IMAG0063.jpg |
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
Sometimes I wish I would of just kept those wheels and not had 22s made. Would of been alot further along with my build! My only regret with that setup was the front tire, I should of ran a 245/40/20 for a little bit more side wall, there was almost a 2" difference in the tire hieghts from front to rear. So keep that in mind... Also the smallest bump in the road seemed alot bigger. I would run a 245/40/20 Front and a 295/35/20 Rear if I were you.

Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
Hey Myth i was thinking about that that i wanted some a little larger on the front of the truck. I would have loved to run 22's on my truck but i dont think the truck quite has enough on the notch to lay it properly with a nice tire!

Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
A little test fit before i changed out the oil pan and pickup!
couldnt get it all the way up because the fenders are not cut yet.. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...7/44e9ec9c.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...7/49cb32c5.jpg |
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
tukin balls deep. looks good
|
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
Looking good!
I think a set of 255/40 and 295/40 Toyo Proxes II's would look perfect on those wheels. You have room for some sidewall. |
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
I think thats a little too much sidewall for a truck thats bagged.. Thats almost 5 inches of sidewall all around. The lower you go, the bigger the tire will look, the smaller the wheels will look.
|
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
some 255/35's would be good on the front.... thats what i run all the way around on my burb :)
|
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
the truck looks good with the wheels bro......
|
Re: my 86 Backhalf'd SWB c10
