Already ran fuel lines. Fired it up a few weeks ago. Running a little rough but it was running. Going to run the brake lines next. Then start putting on the front clip.

So its been going slow as always. Had 11 days off over the X Mas break and very little work done. My oldest came back from her first year of college and that ate a lot of time over my break. But, spend the time with family, never know when you will get it with your kids when they leave!!

So, over the X Mas break. I hung lights as the rest the family watched from the driveway! I love LEDs. We also had to take one of our Danes in to get a tumor removed and fighting with her to get healed up after. Dam dog can lick her back leg even with a giant funnel on.

so after mounting the new rotors, I decided I wanted them painted, so I painted them and sanded. They look pretty cool. Used a ceramic brake paint and a engine gloss.

So I got the hydro boost installed. Used Smokedat pic to help me out with the install. Really don't know how to clean it much more than this? Limited on space everywhere!

Got a ICT bracket to mount AC up high. Cool and cheap , but need a 60 tensioner to finish. To me, doesnt look real cool in the front accessories. Maybe I can get another system later?

Love this build ! Finally had time to read your entire thread. I'm about 2/3rds through my 84' 5.3 swap with a static drop in lieu of the bags. I'm going to have my body and paint done by a shop as I lack the skills to pull off what you have. Nonetheless, your truck look wicked good !

I'm working on the other side, have some stuff to bend to make sure the Tubz fit up. I also ordered some interior pieces while squaring away this underhood stuff. They all came pretty fast. LOL Also debating on ordering a new intake after seeing these covers on. Any input?

Since the new dash has a slight modern appeal, I'm going to try and redo the dash insert. Hope I don't offend any. I'm going for a modern look, hopefully can pull it off without losing C10 appeal!! Im going with buckets that a local guy is doing for me. Also going to install a large console to hide tranny hump as well as harbor most the dash electronics. AC, stereo, air controller, power windows, and maybe even a few cupholders! lol

So here i my idea with dash.
Attachment 1749080
I want to redo with two 4 5/8 in tach and speedo in middle. Then on both sides run 2 5/16 aux gauges. On the outside of each those pairs, I want to put two circle Ac vents same size as gauges. Then smooth radio and ac vent on driver side. Going to have the insert smoothed and finished with a hydrodip black and white skull. Want a matching band on pass side dash, as well as an insert in my console!. Thoughts?
