Wow, some nice C20's..
I picked up this one about 6 months ago when I wasn't looking to get another truck..but a guy owed me and used this truck to settle up.. Now I really love this old truck (maybe cuz I'm old too) 1966 C20, LWB, 327 4 BBL., 4 Spd. runs and drives pretty good all the way to about 55 MPH. Love that old Eaton 4.57 gear!! All original as far as I can tell, with the exception of tires & wheels. Plans are to change to 17" Steelies with LT245/75R17 tires which are a couple of tenths from original which was 31.8 I think.. new old stock seat upholstery and PS & PB (Drums).. Supergas :chevy: |

thank you! 84-85 I think, somewhere around there.. that hair!
couldn't find it today but I have a picture of me toddler age with the truck barely visible in background.. I'll look for it later, my folks didn't take a lot of pictures back then, especially farm equipment just sitting around  |
Re: Where's the 3/4 ton love?
Well I've come upon this a bit late. I like a 3/4 ton over a 1/2 ton myself. The former is a truck and the latter is a sedan with a bed. Don't get me wrong, I have both. It's just easier to use the 3/4 ton as a truck. None of mine are show vehicles. I'm too poor for that kind of nonsense. In fact, I'm seriously considering the heresy of rebuilding the wood bed in my Chevy with plywood. 1" of course. Paint it both sides with bed liner and call it good. Here's a recent pic of my Chevy:
