Nope, still haven't touched it since March 2016. I just got engaged and bought a house and have been remodeling lately.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
Congrats Trevor! Good luck with the remodeling!

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
Thanks Ryan, been taking my time from projects but she stuck it out with me through my surgery, so I believe the time was right.

Took a pic of her to prove it has been awhile. She's looking lonely.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
Hey, yours looks better than mine. It's just a pile of cut up cabs etc.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
Very nice build. Congrats on the wedding and Remodel as well. Hoping you can help me with a couple questions. What did you do to lower the box and get it lined up using this frame? Also is their any reason a guy wouldn't be able to use this frame and do a long box if he wanted? Thanks

Weather was excellent on Thanksgiving, so out of the barn she came.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax

Oh no, didn't sell it. Loaded it up and brought it over to my house to finish the cab. Painting season is over for me as the winter rolls in, so no painting my squarebody crew. Figured I could make some headway on this one again.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
I'm glad to see you didn't sell it. I thought the same thing when I read the off to a new home part. That's great you'll be able to work on it. Mine is getting further shelved. I'm working on acquiring another muscle car. Haha

Ryan, I couldn't keep putting this one off. I had the chevelle parked in here, but my folks had the space to park it at their place for the winter so I took advantage of it. I have so many cool things to throw on this truck that are sitting in totes that it is killing me.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
It'll be nice to see the crew getting some attention, oh and btw if you ever need a Chevelle baby sitter I'm your man! :metal:

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax
I totally feel your pain Trevor. I have the same issue with my 76. I did put it inside a few weeks ago but IDK when I'll actually get to work on it.

Had to cut the driver pillar loose. It was sucked into the interior 3/4". After some of the board got me straight on my measurements, I pushed forward with getting things welded in. Dialed in my gaps, still got a little bit left. Got all doors opening and shutting good, so I will be moving onto the roof again once it like the rocker to bottom of the door gap.
