That looks good. And a very good friend to share his building. Nice looking herd you have there!

Time for the Wilwoods!

Car Boss finished up the rear end, so it was time to install the Wilwoods that had been sitting in my garage for a year. I sourced these from Travis at Pro Performance in Arizona and all went well. The only exception were the front braided lines that where about 10" to long. So, unless you're lifting your truck you might request shorter lines. We also added a Wilwood master and proportioning valve, and Car Boss bent up some very nice stainless hard lines. You'll also notice if you look carefully, he welded on a couple of brackets on top of the axle tube to securely hold the lines in the rear.

Do you happen to have any picture of how you integrated the Wilwood e-brake lines to the stock e-brake cable? I am going to tackle this soon. I have a few ideas, but was curious what you did.

Beater, so sorry I'm just now seeing this post. I've been busy on other projects and haven't spent as much time on the forum as I would like.

Let me see if I have some pics and I'll post them here.

Wow! It's been almost 2 years since I updated this post. I've been busy on a couple of other projects. A 79 Trans Am and most recently a 68 Resto Mod Firebird 400.

The GMC is doing well and now has over 14k miles on the build and is holding up very well. Here's a recent pic.

Ok, here are a few pics of the 68 Bird. It's a Resto Mod and lots has been done to it. Tremec 5 speed, Vintage Air, Relic power windows, Dakota Digital gauges, custom interior, Fast EFi, tubular control arms, Detroit Speed sway bars, shaved drip rails, tucked front and rear bumpers, C5 door handles, new tinted glass all around, disc brakes, remote entry and push button start, Foose wheels, self dimming rearview mirror with compass, JVC steareo with back up camera.

Nope, I didn't build it but I will make changes. Front air dam, rear 69 TA spoiler, drop spindles, lowering blocks, change out the LOUD Flowmaster FX mufflers for Magnaflow and a good cut and polish and loose the ricer headlights.

I had a request for close up picks of my tailgate pins. Hope this helps.
