Could you tell what supplier you got these wheels from? I have 16.5 Slots onmy truck but tires are not available unless you want Super Swampers and I dont. I have found 2 of the 17x10 Slots but was hoping to find all 4 for sale.Any help would be awesome, I love Slots and want to run them on my K2500

Worked on the ole' girl for the first time since August. Cut the inner loose in a couple of spots and worked the crown out of it. Sat the outer skin down to check the fit.

Happy New Year’s guys! Getter-Done, the hood is off of my 71’ swb, I didn’t want it to get banged up sitting around, so I put it on this truck for now.

Spent my New Year’s Day still working on my inner roof. Slow going as it is so hard to keep it in shape. You have to keep test fitting the outer to make sure the shape isn’t out of whack. I am 1/2 done with the inner. Now I need to jump to the other side and flatten out some spots. I am happy with the slight crown to the roof, which is what I was after. If you stare at a regular cab, or cut off as many roofs as I did, you will notice the slight dome shape. Most I have seen are flat, and I think it causes some low spots in the transition.

Realizing I haven’t ever showed pics of the pillar mostly done except final cuts and welds on rocker panels.

Had a little bit of a free time on Sunday, worked on getting the 3rd door Rocker almost finished, and finished welding the front driver's floor pan in.

The trim looks nice and straight. I saw on IG that you're buying new from Mar-K. I've never gotten theirs but am really curious as to how it feels in your hand compared to the LMC and other crap.

Making great progress, love the trim. I'm going to need to discuss that further with you

Decent weather for a garage sweep. Pushed this hunk of metal outside for the first time since last July. Test fit a 285/75/16 tire I had laying around. I like the stance with that size without losing the benefits of this truck.

That looks like it fits nicely

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax

The 285 looks very nice on there. One other nice thing about it is, I doubt they ever quit making that size for a very long time.

Got my v43 mounted and straightened up. Also, bought a Class V tow hitch by B&W Hitches made for a square body long bed and also made for a Drop bumper. Had to trim the bumper brackets just a hair.

That looks so much nicer now! I'm glad they're making those wheels now! I'll be getting a set for my truck to shelf the 16.5s eventually.

Thanks fellas, been juggling a busy time at work with our new liquor law change and getting projects done around the house. Ready to get back on it.

Re: Project: 1972 K30 Crew Cab Duramax

Trevor,

Would you happen to know off hand the distance from the front axle centerline to the back of the cab on your truck?

I am planning my build and I need 113" for my 04 crew cab frame. I think I'm going to have to use truck rear door size to get to that, but I love the way yours looks.

TIA!
