Great Work!

Where did you source the hinges for your decks?

I got them from Speedway. Universal trunk hinges.

Wow. I was not in on your thread when it began. Just read through the whole thing now. hard for me to believe that you learned to weld at the beginning of this project. You have a very good vision for things and you're very inventive. Now shut all of that off, so that you can get it done, at least usable and drivable and then you can mod it from there, haha. I really respect how you used your enthusiasm and ideas to develop as a fabricator.

Thank you for taking the time to go through the whole thread!!! Yes, I started welding just before getting the Blazer. I took my time and learned but it was natural for me. I do plan on keeping at it and getting this thing on the road and enjoy it. Should be a fun little Blazer when I am done!!!:metal:

Well guys, I am at a crossroads. It is either pay for a storage unit to put the Blazer in or consider selling it. The price of keeping it will be high but trying to build it and pay for storage may be too high. :waah:

These decisions are not easy, with everything going up I can imagine so has storage units. If you decide to sell I'm sure someone would give that Blazer a good home. Beautiful ride!!

Nope! Put that baby in your living room and get her done! I won't hear of you selling it!

Thank you! Yeah, always wanted a Pro Performer when I was a kid. Had to get one. It is completely original, even the tires, pedals and brake pads.

Cant beat an 86 GT in Maui blue!

I still have it. She is tucked away in storage for the time being. I just bought a tig welder and getting ready to put some more time into her.

Here is her current situation. I have her in storage for the time being and have very little room to work. My goal is to get the rest of the custom beadrolled interior pieces done in the next couple of months. Once I move it will open up some space in the storage to do a little more.
