Re: 1995 tahoe part out

I'm looking for a seat riser/track system for the driver's seat in my 94 GMC. If that one is still in one piece and available I'd sure like to check out the measurements of its footprint on the floor pan: from bolt to bolt width-wise and bolt to bolt front to back. - and if it's powered, would like to see the wiring hookup just to make sure it fits mine. I'm in 90245.

Thanks.

Richard $20 plus shipping sound good.
71threequarterton not sure if the riser on the 95 is the same as the 94

I think I'm gonna pass on the door panels. They appear to be in the same shape as the ones I currently have. I'll let you know on the steering wheel. I might just put a Billet wheel in it. If someone offers to buy it before I make up my mind then I understand.

Hey, I'm sorry. I was at the post office yesterday to get a money order and send a package and I uncovered your envelope on the seat. I had a bunch of stuff to take care of my last trip there, including your m.o., but must have overlooked it. It's on it's way now. Just wanted to let you know.

Not sure if I read it but is the Tahoe a 4WD or 2WD old body style? My son has a '96 4WD Z71 1/2 ton extended cab, needing the driver's side front lower
A-arm. He told me he needs ball joints and the lower control arm has a chunk out of it at the ball joint mount. Also said there are two kinds, stamped and forged. His is forged so that is what he is looking for. Also you mentioned having other trucks available for parts if any of them might have a donor. "Think" but don't know from '95 thru '99 old body style would work? Let me know if you have such, price and shipping to 67152 zip. Thanks :chevy:

The ball joints are a pressed in fit. Mentioned for the time being since he needs to get the truck up and going he planned on "tack" welding the ball joint in with a Mig welder until he finds a replacement.

Re: 1995 tahoe part out

Just to be sure we are on the same page, the upper control arm is a factory riveted and bolt in style. The driver's side LOWER control arm he needs is only a press in ball joint. Any help is appreciated.

Re: 1995 tahoe part out

yes we are on the same page. my 1997 chevy z71 is the same set up my 1996 has both bolt/rivet in ball joint type a arms. you will need a lower a arm from a z71 1500 or a 2500 they use the same lower a arms from what I found.

Thanks for the reply and the info. Have called a couple 'yards locally with no luck. Now at least know it needs to be from a Z71 1500 / 2500 truck? Does the Z71 option or model designate ONLY a 4WD? Not totally familiar with the newer trucks. Thanks.
