Re: 1959 fleetside build
My truck is coming back next week from the fab shop. its sitting low. I am running 4 wheel disk brakes, which firewall master cylinder have you guys had good luck with? any ones to stay away from? also, what length steering columns have you guys been using with the Camaro clip? need to get these on order today so I can start some progress.

Re: 1959 fleetside build
Hey, you are kicking butt. Great progress.
Ps. That truck at the swap meet was hideous. The pics make it look better than real life. I am taking a trailer load of stuff to Traders Village next month. |
Re: 1959 fleetside build

Re: 1959 fleetside build
truck is finally back from shop. Rear step notch finally installed. Looks like I may be restricted on wheel and tire sizes as a big wheel may hit the bag. Lesson learned on using this set up.

Re: 1959 fleetside build
I pulled it off the trailer today. Tomorrow im putting the whitewalls on the wheels. I sand blasted and painted the rally wheels black. I hope it turns out the way I think. I let the air out of the bags and the cab is sitting an 1inch from the ground.
sorry for the picture overload. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2650/1...9e6137fd59.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7361/1...8ba1218ccf.jpg http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3190/1...bdef0e60c9.jpg fully aired up.. http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2615/1...7156b3954b.jpg all the way down |
Re: 1959 fleetside build
Man even all the way up it's low. Exactly what tires are those? Just the right amount of whitewall.
