I like your start on this. The front fender mods it spot on. I always thought it you look better with the lip lower.

Where in East Texas are you?

Just down the road from you in Beckville.

That's a sweet project. You got skills. I never noticed the front fender being higher than the back. Glad someone brought it to my attention.

You don't notice at stock height because of the factory rake.

Truck looks awesome. How much of a "Z" did you do? Can you please give more pics of the front and back suspension. I love the fender idea!

I found a few pictures of the rear suspension but none of the front.

Nice job on the front fenders. It's the next (and hopefully final) modification I'll be making to my ride before it gets painted.

Doesn't the drive shaft hit that bar you have for the upper link bars? It must be close if it doesn't. :)

Also, you might want to consider tying the bottom of the frame into that bar by triangulating it. The old cross member (which you have removed) really does a lot to keep the frame rigid. These frame s flex a ton before you start removing cross members.

The crossmember did not hit when I put it in but that was before the Z so I may have to redo it when the motor goes back in. I don't have pictures of i but I have boxed some of the frame there so tying it in like you said would be pretty easy. I did tie it into the frame on the ends but it's not as rigid as what you suggest. In addition I have the brige bar in which is not shown either.

Still need to add a little more bracing to keep the door from flexing. It is sagging about a 1/4 inch.

Re: Project '86

looks real good. I put suicides on my 86 and let me tell ya it takes a lot to get the doors not to sag. Also, are you putting the latch on the door or the jam

Why do you say it looks unsafe? Are you refering to the suicide door concept in general as unsafe?
