Huge fan of satin black. Not flat.. but not high gloss. Did a custom job on my old motorcycle and now I'm really considering it for the 83 when I get it painted after seeing that pic. Just looks so good.

Do it yourself job or professionally done? I'm looking at using some of the John Deere Blitz Black that people are raving about. Laid down some nice paint on my motorcycle.. think I can handle the truck.

I measured a one ton crew cab with 56" springs, there was just enough room to cut 6" off the back and not interfere with the hangers.
