When did this motorcycle thing happen ? You been holding out on us .

Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
How much for the wheelwell moldings ?
|
Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
For the love of god please tell me you'll change the bumpers too and not leave them on there with the impact strips when the side strips are pulled. It looks so tacky to everyone I've ever talked to. On that note, you have the very special red impact strips that were sport truck only and match the paint job. I'd consider leaving them.

I like a clean truck, so I'd remove all the molding if that's practical. If it gets too expensive or involved, what you already have looks nice and it might be wise to leave well enough alone. Now that I've talked myself in a circle, I'm just gonna sit back and wait to see what you do. Ed |
Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
according to his post, he is just removing the wheel well molding. the stuff screwed to the arches.

Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
So it's been like ten posts since you mentioned the motorcycle and still no pictures? I've had a few over the years. Current bike is 200cc worth of bad ass Honda. Oh, and keep the rubber side down! Somehow you become invisible as soon as you throw your leg over a motorcycle.

Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
Big bobber fan here - that's a cool bike! Hope you share some updates, I'd like to see what you do with it.

Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
It does look good ,just be careful ,its the 4 wheelers you have to watch out for .
|
Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
Looks cool! Is that a hard tail or does it have suspension like a Softail?
And that's a beautiful area that you live in. Love all the trees! |

The bike is actually a softtail but the swingarm is rigid. It has a mono shock under the seat. That's one reason these bikes are really popular to bob out. Rides as good as a bike with a solo springer seat could I imagine. |
Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
Hell yes Honda. Not into the slow types but its still a honda so its sweet. I have a 600F4i with 77,000 miles that I've owned since new and a 600RR trackbike. Now put the bike in the back of the truck and take more pics to show us!

Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
Nice truck! I just went from my 66 c10 to a 93 GMC RCSB. Really like these trucks. Wish mine had a 5 spd like yours. I bet you do love driving that thing!
Can't wait to see it with a little drop too. |

Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
A little off topic but.....
I was looking on my Early Bronco forum the other day and spied a familiar face in the background. Did you sell "Oaky" to somebody in Alabama? http://classicbroncos.com/forums/att...9&d=1462668530 |
Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
That looks like Oaky .
|
Re: '92 Chevy c1500 Sport
