112k on the motor, no smoke, runs well.

Haven't removed a valve cover. It's still in the truck and driving around. Oil's been changed regularly, so I doubt it's gunked.

So...how much for the trans/t-case?You can pm if you like.Looks like you have interest in the motor and maybe computer.

i hate to rain on anyones parade, but that trans without the wiring harness and computer is 10x as worthless as the engine would be without it. you can still bolt a carbed intake onto the engine, but the trans WILL NOT work without the wiring harness and computer. the aftermarket controllers available for the 4L80E run about $750+

Right, which is why the harness and computer's included with the transmission and not the engine. If it splits to anyone else; I imagine Special-K is looking for spares for his truck that already has a 4L80E and Np241.

Painless Wiring has a stand alone harness for 195 at summit that will run the TBI with a 50.00 junk yard computer.

Sorry I missed this. It's a single headlight set up. Grill is very nice, AFAIR.

Buddy really wants this out of his yard.

I really don't have space for it.

FormerMember 09-26-2005 04:37 PM

I still, really, really need to get rid of this entire thing.

Not to jack his thread, but since his are stock, I have a set of American Racing Mojave 16X8s, Chrome Aluminum, $400+ Shipping. Look just like what's on my Suburban.

FormerMember 10-13-2005 07:59 AM

Still have the grill.

Seatbelts are blue and in very good shape.

jsbgump 10-13-2005 10:16 AM

BBC Beater 10-13-2005 03:03 PM

This is the OD trans.

Does your 'Burb have a 4L80E in there now? Do you have a Amtrak train station near you? Like Louisville or Lexington?

Re: Ripping apart a 91 Suburban 2500 4x4

Well its in a truck... But I'm pretty sure its a OD. I'm not sure if there is a train station close, I've not heard of one, but if you know of one, in KY, feel free to let me know. I'm close to Cincy, and my bro is close to lexington..
Thanks
Brandon
