When you are trying to fit 18.5 to 21" wide tire in the back..... I have only 3.5" of backspacing on my wheels. 1.5" clearance on the frame rails and 1" clearance on the outer fender lip. I cant stand the little tire in the HUGE wheel well look!

My axles from Strange are only 28 inchs long each.

I was running a stock pbar and the swing was enough to piss me off my new bar goes from the PS outside fram to the outside of the trailiing arm..its like 42" long....My wheels are stock rallies that I had 6" added to the back space with stock front space....I'm waiting for them.... as soon as I get them painted and mount the tires so I can see if this is all going to work....I'm worried about tire hitting inner bed at dump?? my axles are stock..and open...booooo!!

I might put a jack on the frame behind the fuel cell, pull the springs out. Put the truck at ride height, then lower it a few inches with the jack and see how close those tires come to the frame rail. I'd be concerned the when the PH bar is level, you might be touching tire to frame.

You might have already checked the geometry, but if not, better to find out now..

Truck has already been down the road for awhile. I have had the truck down even lower than it is now. I settled on this ride height because of the nice rake it has with the body lines. I do appreciate the concern.;)

I need to start a build thread but this truck has been torn down and changed too much, so I'll just post pics where I can.

I'm having 5" of backspaceing added to a stock rally wheel ..My plan is to just tub it and relocate the E brake cable...one thing I did do is relocate my panard bar from stock to from the back of the trailing arm to the oposite side outside frame ( 42" ) I have amost no side travel with 1" blocks and bags in the stock spring location and a C notch...my wheels "should" be here at teh end of the week

hottrucks who's bar did you go with? Would it clear a aftermarket Diff cover? I need to go with a long bar to help the launch.

I built my bar and hanger I'm running cup car trailing arms they had a hanger for an adjustable bar but it was on the driversside so I fabbed up the bar and hanger ( on te outside of the frame to add a couple more inchs ....at full dump ( my axle U bolts just clear the sides of frame) when at ride height I'm about 1/4" off..the angle of the hanger on the truck arm is aimed so it clears my stock cover pretty well and since I was fabbing the hanger I kinda put it where I wanted???

heres a pic sorry its not all shiny and painted yet te second pic is the issue with a C notch and the U bolt clearance if you need one of the hanger on the frame I can get it but its nothing but aHanger that goes from the frame down about an 1" below the frame with a hole in it??
