Because it was the easiest setup for the 700r4 and i had it laying around, it has a part time 4x4 kit so its not turning the front driveshaft full time, it also came out of a truck with low miles.

Did get the truck done, did upgrade to a 406 small block since then

Sweet truck, You have have to post more pics. I have 67 k-20 myself. I contemplate pulling out the original 283 and putting in a big block, did you have to do any fabrication to get it to fit. I keep hoping to hear of more people that get them to reasonably fit without modification. I threw in two pics of my truck. I hope they're not upside down. Again awesome truck!!!!!
