At one time,we would gang-up at Edgewater Mall.
But,not anymore, because the mall parking lot is always full!(you'd have to get there very early to park)
The beach side parking areas are good places too.
Still a 9:00 p.m. curfew,which I think should be extended to mid-night.
I'd love to see a place set-up for internet clubs/sites to gather.I think it would need to be a pretty big area!
I live here and have some property, but 30 miles from the event.Too far for easy access to the event.

Based on these quotes there are a bunch of guys who know this event inside and out. Would anyone like to give some pointers to the new kids? Does anyone know of a place we could meet up? :banghead::banghead:

Have you all herd of Gulf Coast Motorsports Magazine? They are on Facebook or go to gulfcoastmotorsports.com. Lots of info there. Buddy of mine joined the club ($15) so he could park at their lot. Neat Magazine that you can read online for free.

We were planning on going this year, but the 1960 El Camino clone will not be done until early November. My 70 C-10 with 3 speed and 373 gears would be SCREAMING the whole way from Shreveport Louisiana with those gears.

You've got to check out Ocean Springs. Try to get there early so you can get a good spot. Bay St. Louis is always a cool place. Live music and always tons of nice rides. Well heck everywhere is pretty much awesome. If I keep talking I'm just going to load up and head down tonight.

Looks like they are having a Cruise-in at the Edgewater Mall on Saturday night, that might be the thing to do.

How many people plan on driving or pulling their trucks ? And for far is the distance ? I'm thinking on driving verses pulling . I'm about three hours away .

Well, I would say if I make a future trip. I would be pulling from Kansas. Got family down there in Biloxi, so the stay would be free. Plus my father-in-law is involved with the event, got a free tour guide...lol But if I lived that close, I would be driving. Building it to enjoy it, why not drive it. You all have fun out there, hope to see you all in the future.

I finally got a chance to do a lil cruisin this afternoon after work and the cars and trucks are really showing up.. Went as far as cruise central in GPT and it was a nice ride and lots of people already set up on the beach and at all the hotels. I live in Ocean Springs and couldnt believe the number of Cars & Trucks down town today some were just sitting in chairs watching the people cruise... Seen a dozen or so of 67-72 trucks out & about but didnt get a chance to stop, had to get back home before wife got here and seen what i was up to lol ,i did meet up with her at sonic & my lil girl was mad because i was out in the old chevy without her.... Happy Cruisin & hope to meet lots of new friends

Saw the school bus as you were leaving cruise central. Glad you got out and about. Maybe we'll see you in OS Friday.

We hope to be on main drag in Ocean Springs Friday. Probably at Cruise Central on Saturday. Just look for Jr and a bunch of other crazy truck folks (OK that last will not be as definitive as it should be)
