Ok,I have had it with Photobucket. Just plain unreal. That last post took me from 6 am till 7:45 to post. Seriously,it took ONE HOUR AND 45 MINUTES!!! AHHH!!! I don't know what the heck has happened to P=bucket but it is totally useless anymore. I guess I'll just keep on attaching files 5 at a time and still put my pictures on P-bucket just for safe storage in case my computer poops out.
So,5 more: |

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
I don't know what's going on here. Now I try to upload using the "attach files" feature,as I've done in the prior posts, and there is only an option to post ONE picture...not FIVE as ALWAYS before. Ok,I'll just post one damn picture...NOPE! It says it's too big and I have to re-size it manually. Well,I don't know how to...never needed to since it has ALWAYS done that AUTOMATICALLY. This is just too annoying to bother with. I hope you all enjoy what I managed to post before whatever changed everything happened.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
Wish I could help Tim, but pictures have always been one of my weaknesses. I can't even get an Avatar to work!!
Great work on what you have already accomplished though. Bill |
Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
Thanks for posting all those pictures, it sure is good to see so many big trucks out there being cared for.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
One the few decent looking front ends on that 59ish ih a110 in post #32

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
Yeah,I used to know all the IHs by year. I just don't see them enough to retain it. If I saw all years together I could sort them out. But,I agree, great looking front end. I love that red narrow bed 4wd.
I saw in another thread where a longtime member said he couldn't upload pictures today. Maybe it's temporary. I posted some in another thread |
Re: Old Trucks At Macungie

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
The "new and improved" P-bucket gets me so frustrated I start talking to my computer (to put it lightly). I think I'll start calling it S-bucket . I have used it for years and it worked great. It really gets on my nerves how so many sights think life is all about Facebook. They change to make it easier to "share" on Facebook. Well,I'm on YOUR website and I want to "SHARE" other places and THAT used to be easy. I thought that's what these sights are for!. The same with my frikken e-mail. Now there's no "forward"option conveniently located up top with everything else. I finally figured out how to find that! I still haven't figured out how to get my contacts list so I can forward...or SHARE e-mails. Why are these sights caving-in to Facebook? This sight has a Facebook page. I just don't get it. Don't they want us to come here? Why go on both? How much jibber jabber time do people have? I obviously,I do that plenty enough right here. It's about trucks and this is a truck sight.I don't need to tell the world how my Corn Flakes tasted this morning
Still can't attach files. All of a sudden my files are too big. I wonder how that happened? I actually just started showing pictures from last year's show I never did a thread on,because before it would have been moved to the PA section where it would get 1 view in 6 months if I was lucky. I've posted individual pictures from that folder before, with no problem. I'm startin' to think about going back to my happy life before computers. I think I'd survive. |
Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
We had one like that was sold maybe 2 years ago by our local fire department but it was a one ton (1300) brush truck. Same color, same bed. I think it sold for 2500ish clean truck though.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
I sure do agree with what you say about Facebook, Tim. Never was a fan. Of the few times I have visited, I pretty much left in a hurry. I also have plently enough to do without it...

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
My dad had a 59 ih a110 stepside. It was originally the same color red as that wide bed a110. I have looked at a picture of that truck so many times in my dad's office that I have really come to enjoy that look. I would really like to build one at some point.

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
I'd like to have an International at some point. I've always had a liking for them. They dropped out of the light truck market not really that long before it became "the market". What a shame. That's what I like about GMCs. The smallest thing they make is a pickup...traditionally speaking. Jimmys came out and they also made Suburbans, both which "were" trucks. Now? I could care less. Cadillac builds trucks now, right?

Re: Old Trucks At Macungie
That Cabover Chevrolet on post #28 is one I really want, I've seen several GMC's that year but you just don't see the chevy's. There is a farmer not 5 miles from me has a GMC, I've been all over him about buying it, but as of now there is still no sell, He uses it once a year and said if he sold it he would just have to buy another truck!
