Nice work so far. Frame is looking great. Interested in seeing how it turns out as I've been debating on painting vs. powder coating my frame.

I'm sure I'm going to beat the cost on material its the elbow grease that will go over budget:)

This is going to be one fine looking frame when you get it painted. :chevy:

that is the best looking frame I've seen in a long time.....sick zicc! if you continue this detail to the rest of the build, wellllll, I'll be watching

thanks Larry , I saw a frame that another member spent a lot of time prepping and payed attention to all the other detail except the marks that the RUST MONSTER from the N.East left on it. My eyes were drawn to the scaling and dimples. I thought to myself all that other detailed work on top of those blemishes won't work for me. I will keep my fingers crossed i can get the top coat laid on and meet my own expectations.
PS i think I'm starting to get a little excessive on this part of the build and questioning my sanity have crazy ideas about putting color on it instead of satin ....i need grounding , I can't imagine me cutting and buffing a frame:mm:
besides ill never catch up to you if i get that looney...

thanks Jim , Slick Zicc i like it ;) i may have to call the truck that... talk about detail ....i wish i could have spent more time gazing at your build when i was out to your place, i been keeping up with your progress since then but seeing the truck in person and your shop was eyeopening experience for me. My lack of patience and your patience over the years and attention to detail that will produce a one of a kind set aside from the rest build....

Re: The Doc & Kim 69 build

It is all in what you want for an end result. Mine had some serious pitting in the back especially where those gussets went that I sold you. That was the reason behind replacing the rear frame section I wasn't happy letting it go with all the work I had put into this build. I vote you paint it and buff it out at this point. :mm:
