Yet another unsolicited product endorsement. When spark plug/plug wire clearance is close,, but just not there, I have had great luck with these NGK #2771 plugs. They are a replacement for Autolite #25 and AC R45TS. They may give you just the room you need and are a damn sight better than those Accel shorty plugs.

Just a little bit more. I plan on fitting and running the spark plug wires next.

Same here bud. I am way past 30 and I'm reminded of it regularly when I try to put in a full day out in the shop. The wife don't have to tell me. ;)
Getting old. It beats the alternative.
I agree with painting the aluminum intake. It keeps it's look low key.

I have always been a fan of these Smoothie wire seperators/holders from the Made 4 You company. I have used them for years and they come as a set that will also do big block Chevy engines. Very economical and super easy to use. $40.00 well spent.

Thanks for the kind words guys. I know it is nothing fancy, an LS swap or covered with billet parts, but we are glad with the way it is going.

3/4 length stainless steel. I have used these for several years on most of our builds. The flanges are thick and they have fewer header gasket leaks than most we have used in the past. Thanks, Fred.
