Re: Rolling restoration thread---1962 Stepside
Great looking truck, Todd! Do you think you could do me a big favor and take some good pics of your tranny mount? What kind of transmission do you have? You can see on my thread that I desperately need to do something with my tranny mount.
Thanks Ryan |

Sorry it's been so long, but I have been maikng progress.
New wheels- American Racing 15x8. New tires all around. Frame is finally painted-Let me tell you it's a "blast" pressure washing 40 year old grease and mud off a truck you're laying underneath. Painted a little under the hood too. Anyway here's what you want-Pictures! |

Man I'm likin' that original green!
Probably my favorite color on them old trucks. You got 'er lookin good! so far, keep it up and take plenty of pics. But you can hide that logbook, I don't need to be reminded that 4.95 gallons of gas was $5.25 only 15 years ago :D |

Re: Rolling restoration thread---1962 Stepside
Yep. I.still got the ol' greeny. Truck runs a lot better with the Holley Carb.
Night and day difference. I had to do a lot of brake work this year Master cylinder and a couple wheel cylinders. I'll get some more pics up soon. Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: Rolling restoration thread---1962 Stepside
Really cool truck! Loved it with the original hubcaps. It looked like a time capsule. It's nice to see those long steppers show up in original condition. You did great for the price you paid.
