Awesome build.

Quick question...do you have any pictures of the channel you did on the cab? I didn't see any going through the thread.

thats a huge beech! (the elm tree is pretty big too!)

c60s cost too much to register here in ks, something about the GVWR and the wheel size, you have to have it printed on the door over a certain weight and insurance costs a mint. good job saving that one! too many nice ones get crushed around here because of the registration and insurance.

Sorry I don't have too many. I basically cut everything out and just built my own. None of the floor uses any of the factory floor pan. I could probably get a pic of the door open so you can see how high my floors are. They kind of look like the 55-59 floors how they step up. I really only had to modify the cab. The rest of the panel actually stepped up behind the drivers seat factory. Here's a pic of what I got done today.

I cut out the top of the tranny tunnel and redid it because it was quilt pattern and nothing else in the truck was. I also filled in the triangle piece, and the piece behind the drivers seat. Also got the passenger kick panel done.

I have heard that from a few people. I havent actually called to put insurance on it yet. I actually put it up for sale since I'm afraid it might be more of a project than what I wanted. If I decide to keep it, I might just put the cab over on the another frame with a more drivable drivetrain.

Thanks. Haven't made much progress on it. Been driving it daily since July. Having more fun driving it then building it. Lol. Here's a recent pic fueling up.

Awesome! Likening the progress with the sheet metal. What all are you still planning to do? Never to late to put the diesel in hahaha

Only plans as of right now is to finish the metal work inside and then maybe add some bed liner/lizard skin to the roof and top half of the inside. Also like to primer and seam seal everything and add a coat of bed liner/lizard skin to the bottom of it. Like to make it a little quieter of a ride. It's manageable now but quieter would be better. As far as that diesel...... Would love to but $ is tight. Probably just drive this tbi 350 for a bit. Just wish it had more power

Got some more of the storage bin done.

Nice work on the sheetmetal. Looks like the bead roller was a good investment.

My Honda Element seats worked great as a bed. I woke up at one point and had someone looking through the windshield checking it out. I had to put up my curtains so I could get back to sleep. Lol
