Finally get to add to the thread! I picked this up last week. 1989 GMC with the 454, A/C, power locks and power windows. It was used as a chase vehicle for a hot air balloonist since new. Here are a couple of pictures.

My 83 1 ton with a 96 12 valve. Just finishing up the 73-80 clip conversion. Atlas springs, 37in Toyo Mts, and 20in Fuel Hostage wheels are on the way :metal:

I've always liked the original squares. The second gen square are nice with the 89-91 grille and lights but my intercooler won't fit between that headlight setup. I got the whole front clip, a brake drum for the 14bolt and a complete passenger door for $200 ;)

Here is mine I just bought a couple weeks ago. 454 hydroboost, th400. gave it a quick bath now it looks much better (although it's still wet thats why it looks so shiny) I wonder if this will buff out?

Everything works on this truck!!!! well everything except AC which is missing the compressor. is the ac system easy to get working again?

It's actually really easy to stick a intercooler in a 89 - 91 core support. That what I've done on mine. I do like the earlier grills as well but a 91 grill just took a core support so I went with that.
