Well guys I finished the mustang 2 install on that 1945 Chevy Truck this weekend now lets see if I can get something done on mine.lol I should be a really cool truck I hope I get a chance to see it finished.

Motor seems a bit low will it clear the rack?

He has plenty of clearance for the steering shaft and the rack its the angle of the picture. The oil pan is 3 1/2 inches above the crossmember.

The guy I installed it for told me its Rod Works. I don't know much about them. I was told he bought it about 4 years ago and put the truck in a shop. The guy who was suppose to do the install never did anything but box the frame (imo not a good job). The owner saw the job I did on a friends Nova clip and thats when I entered the picture.

I wish I could weld like that, but on the up side I'm keeping someone employed at the grinding disk factory.

I really don't know but he is talking about bagging it. He is an older gentleman and does not have the energy of us young bucks I told him I will help him as much as I can. He needs to do the rearend and he can't decide what he wants to do back there.

Well, you need to keep everyone updated on what you're doing when it comes to working on trucks, yours or someone else! LOL, so we dont think you're slacking off.

Save all the money you're making to get that ultimate air bag system and joining the crowd, you know you want to, just trying to fight the thought of hitting that switch to make the truck go up and down without too much effort. ;)

WOW, that's very arrogant of you. WOW just unbelievable. But hey it takes all kinds to make the world go around. I'll do my thing and if it sucks at least it sucks because I did it the way I wanted to. Peer pressure is for kids and I stopped being a child a long time ago. I never did things because others did them and the only one that has to like my truck is me my friend.

You just finish your truck and I will worry about mine. Thank you very much for your advice, but advice that does not lead me to the path I choose is advice I don't need or want. I'm glad to know you have been giving my truck more thought than your own.lol

LOL nothing is going on. You know how we talk to each other you have to have thick skin. Tri5nerd is good people and its all good between us. I just have to let him know that I may be wrong about a lot of things but I can never be wrong about how I choose the build my own truck.lol

See what you started! And I saying you started it, LOL. You have folks thinking we have a problem with each other, they just don't know how it is between us. We know it's all in fun but the choice is your to build your truck whichever way you want to build it but I can say anything I want as long it's not negative and yes I'm arrogant!

So here's a question for you. I have a soft spot on my hood ~15 in diameter and want to know how to fix it so I won't be able to push it in without some force.
