Re: Project: Turbo 250

Motor/ trans is capable of putting some serious power to the ground (over 1000hp with the propane injection secondarys) but will be keeping it de-tuned to keep it clean and see what kind of fuel economy I can get. Going to shoot for around 400hp and 850 lb ft of torque

That’s gonna be stout!
What about the 4bt wasn’t working for you? Not enough power?

I'm thinking of getting the Curt 14082 hitch for my 70 LWB 1/2t GMC. I will be using the sport bumper.

Do you have any pics with the flip up license plate and receiver hitch installed??

My bed is off right now (and also the bumper/brackets). It would be easier to install the hitch now, but I think it would be better for alignment if I wait til bed/bumper is installed.

You had to drill the 6 holes correct? Also, was the hardware provided sufficient?

Lastly, where did you get the flip up license plate holder?

Thanks,

Beautiful truck btw

Job well done!!!
I've always thought a Cummins would be cool in a street driven pickup. A friend had one in a 3/4 ton. He took out the original 6.2.
