here is what is going in mine. a set out of a 2006 dodge ram. they are leather and power! building the new brackets was a bit tricky, but it all worked out.

Guys,

I bought them brand new from Discountvantruck.com

Cost me $899.00 for the Seats (an additional $100.00 for the Leather) and another $200.00 for the Retractable Seat Belts (matching) and sub floor assembly to install them.

I love those seats.. I would try and see if I could get them to work without the headrests.. How did they bolt up?

Im going to my Pick n Pull tomorrow looking for buddy buckets.. but after seeing those I dont know what Im coming back with. (Like I ever do!!)

Re: bucket seats and consoles

Thank You.

I removed the factory brackets and mounted the adjustment rails directly to the floor.
The front rail sits on the ridge in the floor and the rear rail sits on a ¾ in spacer.
This is a 3 piece seat; the center unit uses the original brackets.

Good luck on your search!

thanks, chris

Hate to bring back this old thread but I was wondering are you still doing this? I tried to dm you but couldn't. Feel free to email me sshuttlesworth24@gmail.com

Not as comfy as the factory buckets, but I like a seat that holds me during a launch...;) ~Ghostrider~ https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com...c8dba9da2c.jpg

The rear two look like OE Suburban with aftermarket houndstooth covers. The front is a buddy bucket (?). I'm not sure if that would have been original to a '69 Suburban.

If you look at Hart Rods build thread you'll see he's changed his mind on the seating arrangement. ;)

I thought I was the only one going buckets-buckets-bench in an older Suburban. Mine as a slightly different flare to it as I made the middle buckets out of two bench seats. They'll have arm rest like the benches.

My seats came out of some kind of Honda according to PO. The console I built myself and wrapped the dash.

I just finished my interior. I used Corbeau Sports Seats with home made seat frames. The two consoles are custom made using a Chevy Silverado console lid. The shifter is a cable driven B&M Unimatic mounted on a pedestal under the lower console to make it higher.

what did that console come out of? the original emblem helps to make it look right. I got a few of those emblems stashed away and now you have got me thinking.
