Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
Since today is Thanks Giving, I went through my phone and downloaded all the pictures of my kids helping me with the truck, because as evil as they have been this last week, I really am thankful for them.

Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
Hope all the little ones had a blast at Thanks giving.
One thing(I don't want to be a downer) When my two little ones helped me in the shop I made it mandatory they had hard sole shoes on. My oldest split her foot wide open once. Thats how that rule came about. Don't want you to have to go through that. Love your build. Watchin this all the way through.:metal: |
Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
Nice pics of the kiddos. How old are they? And I agree, make them have shoes on for sure. Those metal shavings and slivers will tear their little feet up.

And that is who I truly am thankful for! My wife is the sense of reason in my insanity and I wouldn't want to imagine life without her! https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-U...0/DSC_4485.JPG |

I finally ended a "really bad" marriage and never intended to marry again. Met my current wife and, as they say, the rest is history. Been married over 25 years and she and I raised our daughter (my daughter from my first marriage). Could not have done it without her!! |

Whoa! More info on that monster?

Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
Looks like a standard rear suburban door and still a 3 door set up. Added an additional small window from the rear doors. Also kept the high suburban roof. Would make the rear doors easier because the window frame wouldn't be modified to match the curve of the cab.

Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
Im constantly searching the web for a 1969 gmc crew cab like we are building and have yet to find one. This was a picture of a truck another member of this site, 1968vetL-71, had posted. apparently not his build just a truck he came across on his trip through texas. Check them out: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=465464

Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
After the kids went to bed I put 2.5 hrs into this. I didn't metal finish it yet because my hammering is a little loud when the family is asleep.

Re: Crewcab "the rolling resume build"
Got a few hours while the kids were asleep to get some work done. I got the right rear door fit and tacked. I may work on getting the left one done tonight after the kids go to sleep. I decided to push some other projects to the side to work on the crew for a while.
