Thanks,

I drove your 69-72 c10 in Louisville and really liked the streetgrip on it. I was holding out on ordering it to see how the coilover kit compared cost and height wise for my 78.

For sure man! I haven't forgot about you yet! Just trying to get the ride height correct before I shoot out some measurements. Ride height wise, visually, it is just slightly lower but I know you guys are wanting some measurements. Ill keep you posted. Tires just got here this afternoon, wheels should be here anytime.

The front sway bar was the last part to go on. Included with the front sway bar is as set of our PosiLinks. Installation of these parts go back on just like the factory components.

Here are a few more pictures of the upper and lower coilover mounts installed for you guys. As you can see, this setup is pretty simple AND allows you a little more stroke than the OE configuration.

If there are any specific areas of the truck you would like to see. Feel free to let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

The engineering department gave me these sweet CAD drawings to share with you guys. Hopefully this will give you a good idea of the R&D work that goes into the development of a Ridetech kit.

I apologize. Being that it is a new kit, we are still adding components to the product page.
Check out the link below periodically as we will be adding product pictures and pricing throughout the week.

Honestly, I do not know. The kit is brand new and unfortunately, we don't have any information on that at this time. If you can get me some ball park measurements and pictures of the tank in your truck, I would be more than happy to look into it. You can send the pictures to me directly at jjohnson@ridetech.com

Re: Ridetech 4-Link Coil-Over Install

I personally wouldn't cut it off. As you already know, those trucks flex like a wet noodle from the factory so we designed those components to serve two functions. Not only does that brace allow for a proper mounting point for that sway bar but it also eliminates a lot of the "Squarebody Flex" that constantly plagues these trucks.
For sure, get me some pictures of your current setup and we will see what we can come up with. I am interested in knowing myself.

Finally! I know you guys have been patiently waiting for this! The new wheels and tires were installed this afternoon and I finally have some ride height measurements!

Keep in mind that these measurements may vary with preload, wheel and tire size etc. but this will give you a pretty good idea of where the truck will sit.

Front: 255/40R18 with a 4 3/8 inch backspacing, 8 inch wide wheel.
Measurement from ground to center of wheel lip: 25 3/4 inches

Rear: 275/40R18 with a 5 1/8 inch backspacing, 9.5 inch wide wheel.
Measurement from ground to center of wheel lip: 25 inches

I agree. The StreetGrip kit sets just a wee bit higher but it really all comes down to what you are planning on doing with it. I will try and include some links to videos of it on the track when they get posted. I will let you guys know when they are ready.

The 4-Link is a 100% bolt-on design with minimal cutting and no welding required. C-Notch brackets tie in directly with the upper crossmember, while link bar mounts use factory bolt holes in front along with factory axle pad mounting points. Self-lubricating Delrin bushings offer quiet, reliable operation.

For Immediate Release
Sept. 22, 2017

Turn your 1973-1987 Chevrolet C10 pickup trucks into a true muscle truck with RideTech’s new coilover suspension kit. The complete system includes everything needed to dramatically improve the handling, ride quality and stance of your “square fender” pickup including an all-new Bolt-In 4-Link Assembly with C-Notch that replaces the factory leaf springs. The complete kit includes the aforementioned Bolt-In 4-Link kit, front StrongArm® control arms, HQ Series single adjustable coilovers, Delrin bushing kit, drop spindles, front upper coilover mounting brackets and a beefy, 1.5” MuscleBar™ sway bar kit. The kit is 100% CAD-engineered in-house and refined on RideTech’s exclusive test track.

The heart of every RideTech coilover system is a set of monotube HQ Series coilover shock absorbers with 24 degrees of rebound adjustment to help you dial-in ride quality and fine tune handling characteristics. RideTech offers an exclusive 1,000,001-mile shock absorber warranty. 1973-1987 C10s have an excellent frame design with inherently low rocker height and good strength. RideTech’s new coilover suspension kit takes that great starting point and turns it into a proper muscle truck with high performance handling and sporty stance. You’ll be amazed with the transformation.

Here is a little price breakdown for you guys.
While the front braces are rear sway bars can be added on outside of the kit, all of the components (for the most part) can be purchased individually as you work on your truck.

John, will a suburban/blazer gas tank fit behind the sway bar/pan hard bar?
Thanks
