I'm new here, wished I would have found this site a few years ago. Lots of great info, and some great trucks. Just finished bolting mine together, still needs interior, wheels,tires and rear bumper.

I can't speak for 1sik52, but I have no problem with someone else using the same color. A guy I know were I live is building a 67 pro street long bed. He liked the color of my truck, but as he said, "I didn't want to copy it" and that I might get upset. I told him, hey I don't own that color and if anything, someone else wanting the same color just mean I made the right choice. So paint yours prowler orange, it's okay with me.

P.S. If you do, post apicture!

There seemed to be a slight shortage of task force trucks being pictured so here's a couple of shots of mine. I was starting to get the urge to go get that '52 project I've been eyeballing lately.;) And welcome to the site bigg4104.. It looks like you'll fit right in.

Speakin of GMC's...plus I didn't see any of these...here are a couple of shots of my 52 Burb project. Coined... "The Bus" by some of my local truck club buddies. Here is a link to a bunch more of the Web Shots. Work started back in 2000. Still has a long way to go. But it runs and drives and that's the best part as far as I am concerned!!

Thanks, Your truck is another source of inspiration.The tires are 305/70/16BFG A/T's. I think they are about 33".
Im not sure if I like the look of the 16" wheel. Im kinda partial to the look of the 15" wheels on the big tires. Are you runnin 16's? They look good. I might have to change my way of thinking.

I would love to start a new build, but the bank went dry on this one.:lol: If I were to do somthing it would be a rat rod of some sort. I like the fact you can build somthing cool with out having to dump a bunch of money into it.
