OK 6772king I just hope I can make it down there! I will let you know a good week or better in advance so you can plain on taking a trailer with you or not. Sorry I can’t do much better than that but with my business it is hard to plain out things to much in advance in the summer. I do want to see it go to a good home and not go to the crusher! If I can make it down I can kill two birds with one stone and get you the chassis and longhornmail the bed. :flag:

Low69CST 05-03-2003 07:28 PM

I think i'll try to get up there, if you can handle another Kentucky boy. :) Ofcoarse I'll be in the S-Truck parking across the street. I know how you guys feel bout those trucks, but its either that or the Toyota..... On the map, what exit do you take to head north after getting on I-70?

Any of u other Lexington people wanna head up there at the same time? I won't be living in Lexington by then, but i'm not moving far, just to frankfort, bout 20 miles away.

Longhorn Man 05-05-2003 12:05 AM

US-68 NORTH exit towards URBANA, exit #52B
(acordig to Yahoo Maps anyways)

Tynee 05-05-2003 11:39 AM

Low69,
A caravan might not be a bad idea, but the Wife and I'll stopping in Dayton on the way up to see some friends. PM me your # after the move. As the day gets closer, I'll give you a ring and we'l get things set up.

69 Big Block 05-19-2003 03:55 PM

The Big Block's not a show truck but it's solid as a rock! I'd like to show up if thats ok. I only live about 1 hour east of Urbana.

fine69 05-20-2003 09:57 PM

We dont care if its a showtruck or a turd. I dont have any showtrucks.
We would like you to come even if you cant drive your truck here. Its about getting together, learning things, meeting members, and shootin' the bull.

Longhorn Man 05-21-2003 06:52 PM

An hr east of Urbana? Wouldn't that be about Columbus?

69 Big Block 05-22-2003 08:23 AM

Well, maybe an hour and a half. Centerburg!!!!! Is anyone from this board going to Springfield Ohio this weekend for the big carshow?

Old Chevy Lover 05-22-2003 02:13 PM

I am going to try to go up Saturday, depending on the weather..

Woody 05-28-2003 02:44 PM

Hey Tynee & Low69cst,
I may be able to go also. Fine69 is crazy as they come. It should be a good time for all. The trip took about 2 hrs and 45 mins from Georgetown so 3hrs from Lex should cover it. We need to get together some time after work and talk trucks. I talked to Low's Dad at work a couple weeks ago about a 5 lug rearend. Just havn't had time to follow up on it yet.

Fine69, Don't sell my doors, hell If I can't make it maybe I can get Tynee or Low69CST to haul them back. LOL.

Huck 05-30-2003 09:39 AM

Ohio gathering

Perhaps we can make a caravan from KY and that way maybe we wouldn't all get lost. I am planning on going but not sure which truck to take----weather permitting etc. May be also going to Indi that weekend too. :)

Low69CST 06-01-2003 12:28 AM

I'm hoping my friends birthday is the 1st week of july, I can't miss his party. Woody - I was thinking it would be u that my dad talked to at work. He told me someone came up to him at work and started talkin about my truck. We have a 5 lug rear end, but I had it apart at the time and I think it got sand in it. So if your interested in it, i'm representing it as a housing, axles, and parts that NEED to be rebuilt. as well as i remember it was all there, but needs to be built. If you need some doors hauled I'll be glad to. Just let me know ahead of time so i can throw some big blankets in the S-10, can't scratch the bed! If you want to get together sometime and talk trucks one day I know some good resturants all over lexington.

sbc350gearhead 06-01-2003 12:30 AM

Can I come, even though my GMC is a 98? I bought it from buckles motors, in urbana. Does that win me some brownie points....LOL. By the way......Are any of you guys going to the pontiac excitement nationals this year?

Longhorn Man 06-02-2003 12:47 AM

You can follow me out there. :D
