Hey guys I know this a pretty old thread but I was just curious if I could fit 31 inch tires on my 454 SS rims

I have put 31x10.50's on them, but the wheels are a bit small and the tire tends to bulge. That size is better on a 8" or 9" rim.

I run 255/70/15s on my 454SS wheels. stock height, look good, they don't bulge much, and I don't have to adjust the speedometer.

Man, it's a blast from the past to see this thread pop up. I don't get on a whole lot anymore, but I'm still running 275/60 BFGs on the same wheels. Got a 3/4 drop and no rubbing issues.

On big dips at highway speeds it will scrub the tops of the inner fenders occasionally just a little bit but nothing too bad.
And of course the fenders are rolled.

Keith Seymore - you always have the coolest stuff...the non-chrome version, and widened to 8"? That's pretty awesome. Do you have anymore pictures of that truck?

Stock-ish height. Drop spindles up front but the coils are very beefy. 275/60 front and 295/50 rear.
