That's a handyman wagon which is still cool, but not nearly as cool as a Nomad.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Heres my weekly sightings. The 68 and 67 tow truck were for sale on the side of the road so I stopped and the 66-down has been rotting away in that same spot since I began driving. Funny they actually cleared all the brush away from it so I could take the picture this week. maybe its going away soon. Ill miss it.

the tow truck is confusing, its a chevy, but i guess he liked the gmc grille and lights better. he uses it as his normal tow truck. and the suburban is sick, not the body i like, but everything flat blacked out.

I never miss a day to drive mine. Guess that's why it's called a daily driver.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Saw this one today about 2 miles from my house. Must be a cool neighborhood too, in the neighbors carport, there is a copper Longbed fleet project in progress. You can barely see the quarter in the background.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Geez, I wish I had a camera on me... there's a contractor who has a beat '71 C10 that I see every few days in Frederick, and just saw a '68 flatbed drive past my farm while I was out in the field yesterday.

This guy works at a local body shop. He has owned this beauty for at least 15 years, the same amount of time I've owned my truck. The pictures don't do it justice. It is just plain beautiful.
There are about a dozen or so trucks in my area that a daily drivers. I'll make it a point to get some pics. Keith |
Re: Weekly Sightings
Here is a '71 Custom/20 that belongs to the guy at the shop next to mine. I talked to him once and he said this is the only car he has. It's a really clean truck, notice his handmade canoe on top, pretty cool. Don't think he's a board member.

Re: Weekly Sightings
Man... Mooresville is CRAWLIN' with old trucks. This thread is gonna get me in a wreck. haha. I saw 6 trucks today. Got pics of 3. Well, 2 1/2... OK... really only got good pics of 1. But, I'll share anyway.
This '68, I'd like to have. It's got a ton of potential. He must be drivin' it some, because (even though it doesn't have a tag on it) It's moved everytime I pass by here. (He's got about 4 other 67-72's in the lot next door) http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/c17dc6e5.jpg This 2wd SWB passed me when I was at a stoplight. I was going his way, and I got behind him, but never got closer than about 8 cars before I turned off. It is a lovely combination of ochre, gray primer, rust, and white. I know the picture is barely worth postin, but I'll share it anyway... http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/c0fc07e2.jpg I was getting wings at a local restaurant (Lancaster's for any local guys) and this one was outside. This one was SWEET! So, my Burb stopped traffic in the parking lot so I could get a couple pics... http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/0ab8b709.jpg http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...0/2aac939f.jpg |
