This is the power steering adapter plate that I have been making since 1993. It is of a little different design than the others on the market. With mine you don't need to drill out any threaded holes on the steering box. All four of the steering box bolts go thru the frame. Also there is no inner plate to deal with. Quick question;

The Power Steering unit is coming off a 79 4x4 Suburb.
From my searching these forums, it appears it'll work for my 66 with your adapter plate, but I'll need to get a Pitman arm off a 2wd, correct?

The 4x4 boxes are the same box as the 2wd boxes, but the sector shaft (output shaft) is different. Consequently the 2wd pitman arm will not fit onto a 4x4 box.
