I was never happy with how both the stock cluster and the typical gauge plates point the gauges at the drivers chest. I whipped up an enclosure and laid the back panel back to point the gauges at the drivers face. Dad had the tedious task of engine turning an aluminum insert to add some "pop". A clear lens sits in front, much like any late-model cluster. We're very happy with how it turned out.

I like that. Do you have any other copper or copper colored accents on your truck?

Yesir!

the surround is "hammertone copper " as is the ashtray and fan control - and the glovebox will be getting a matching copper sheet and hammertone stripe.

its 12 or 16 guage, cut and shaped - sanded with 0000 steel wool with some clear coat over top of it to keep the glare down.

door panels are also hammertone copper as will be tailgate and grill letters (i think)

Did this last night. Went with the Dolphin set up but will eventually swap the gauges to custom auto meter after saving some cash.

Nice!
Wher did you get the clock?
Also what did you do regarding the battery/alternator gauge?
I need to swap something for that since I upgraded my wiring.
