Been a Chevy man like forever, and evolved to feel the same for all GM as the best all around. I liked every Chevy and most BOPs. Once I got a GMC I looked over the Pontiac history, which really goes back to Oaklands, I now feel I'm a GMC/Pontiac guy... if I ever buy another car. I just like the matched pair thing.

The bright work on that blue wagon is awesome. The trim on the tailgate is great!

Hey, what about that Mercury in the background?
Just kidding, roundy round we go . Is that the original paint or original color. Maybe my memory's bad (maybe?), but looking now it seems an uncommon color on a wagon of that era. I do remember riding in Chevy wagons like that when I was a kid. The Johnsen's '62 in the background: |

It is a bit faded He put a little wax on it one time and that made it a lot brighter. |
Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
Actually I meant to say when He put wax on it it made it darker. LOL

Actually in person it looks more like someone took the claw on the back of a hammer to it. Pretty sure that's what happened. It will more then likely never be a show car but He plans to fix it up and make a cool daily driver out of it. |

Re: Pic Thread: Station Wagons
I've had my '57, '210', 4-door wagon since the early 80's. Bought it from the original owner. Then I bought a '56 Nomad that was a basket case because I had always wanted one, but I couldn't justify restoring it so I sold it. Wanted to invest my resources in the '57. Just never thought I would be into the wagons and now I prefer them. The older ones especially!
