It is mostly original from what I can tell, inline six (250) mated to a 3 on a tree. The truck came with factory a/c but the previous owner took all of the a/c out, other than that its just a regular old '66 chevy, check out this bumper though.

If you are ever wanting to sell that bumper let me know! I am in dallas and that would look awesome on my c10!

Its something I plan on keeping with the truck but you will be the first to know if I am no longer interested in it.

Thanks, it is pretty easy if you have a couple guys there to help flip it with you because the bare cab is not that heavy. I just used some scrap lumber and that worked well.

Well i'm finally getting back on my thread and giving an update. I have gotten some things knocked out including stripping my inner fenders down to bare metal, painting the front end of my chassis along with (almost finshed) completely rebuilding my front end with replacing new upper and lower ball joints, inner & outer tie-rods, 2 inch drop springs, shocks and and added sway bar. (I don't know if my truck came with a sway bar or not but it currently did not have one so I decided to add one.) Will have the chassis finished by the end of the week then I hope you get my inner fenders in primer and to start stripping down other parts for primer. See below for pictures of the progress.

Been getting some work done. Got the cab stripped down thankfully as some of the spots including the roof on the inside of the cab and the dash. I also started body working it as much as I could after school and whenever I had free time and I have got alot done. Today my brother even helped me spray some primer on it.

Its sure been awhile since i've posted an update but i've been short of time lately. As a highschool senior graduation, graduation parties as well as sports have eaten up my spring. Fortunately I was able to to advance to state in both Track and Field and on the Baseball team. I was able to individually take 2nd place in two events on the track and as a baseball team we were state runner-up. Now that i'm finding more time I wanted to update my thread for those of you who have been wondering what has been happening with my build. This winter my brother and I rebuilt my vortec 350 with an aftermarket comp cam and I got some new parts to finish up the engine. Ive been doing body work as normal. Lastly i've got the transmission mounted in but I need the correct pressure plate and clutch for my t-5. The problem I ran into is that I bought a 14 spline t-5 that is not typically used with a 350 as opposed to the 26 spline and i'm having trouble finding the correct pressure plate and clutch. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Got the whole cab scuffed and ready to spray some 2k. Also drilled the holes for the trim in the doors. It went okay you can see I used masking tape and cut out the holes individually with a sharp razor and then I transferred the sheet of tape to the other door and started drilling. Had a few chips but nothing I cant fix.

Recently bought a Borg Warner t56 that came out of a 97 Firebird with 47,000 miles on it. It came with the slave cylinder, clutch disc and pressure plate. The problem I ran into while trying to make it work was the shift was to far back towards the seat. As you can see below you can see the mechanism I made. I used a different "ball and socket" and I had from a t5 that had the same bolt pattern ad the front inspection cover on the t56 so I bolted it on there and attached them together and here we go.

Truck is looking great. I copied what I found here for the rear shock mounting worked out perfect for me. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=451200

I had 4 inch drop but changed to 3" shocks work well for both drops.

It took a little thinking but I think it came out well. I'm considering painting it.
