More progress tonight. I have finally removed all of my bracing. The A post is done. The outer rocker is lined up. Still need to do the left cab corner. Still have alot of grinding to do underneath. Tonight we started smoothing the fire wall.

Pic 1 is me
Pic 2 is my neighbor and fellow member SDailey
Pic 3 is the Left A post
Pic 4 is a rust hole that was patched. The gas filler hole will be plugged soon.

I will use a ac/heater unit under the dash with a bulkhead plate on the firewall similar to this.

I know people will never see it after it's all done, but until I get it done everyone will see it. It would always be in the back of my head unless I do it. That way I can say I did the best job that I could do. Like I mentioned before in a previous post it's a sickness. I thought a restoration is to restore it to like new condition.

On to the progress..............I finished welding up the firewall and tacked my fuel filler hole plug in place. I also prepped my outer rocker on the Lt side for welding. I still have to replace the Lt cab corner

You're doing a good job on it, want to come and do rust repair on mine? I've got to get me a welder so I can save on body work, come to think of it I might want to learn how to weld. Anyone got a welder I can have so I can teach myself how to weld?

I got a little more done. I'm waiting on another Lt cab corner because the one I had was wrong for some reason.

Pix
1-Firewall primed
2-Primed outside of the doors
3-Primed floor pan
4-Primed back panel
5-Good mark door blocked after 3 coats of primer. I got dizzy looking at the door so I thought I would prime and block to see everything. I've got alot of work to do.

As you can tell I decided to use new doors instead of repairing my old ones. It should save me a little time
