Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
I feel like we are on our way to another locked thread here. I think if you have an opinion on a product and would like to voice it then thats fine. But lets not stoop to the level of bashing each other for ones opinion. Bruce Bruce wasn't happy with his dropmember so he went a different route, its his truck and his money so he can do what he wants. Me personally; I am extremely excited to get my dropmembers in and have been and will be a proud supporter of Porterbuilt products. At the end of the day we all have our opinions but we can all still be friends!

We all know you are not satisfied with the results you got from your Porterbuilt experience. We also think its wonderful that you are now pleased with your recent purchase. We get it! If you continue to try to create controversy on the topic, your not going to be pleased with the results. |

I feel that Nacho said it best when he told Ramseys to... "Take it Easy"!
Let's do our best to keep the thread on topic. We ALL know the underlying sentiments, but let's just move on. If it is not a comment relative to the discussion don't bother posting it. I am all game for well intended humor and even appreciate it in most instances. With that said... Zoomin and Bruce Bruce, I am pretty disappointed that you chose a "cheese slicer" (which I am pretty confident that the image used was an egg slicer) and then the industrial tomato slicer????? Come on guys, everybody knows it is patterned off a "Dough Blender". Innovation at its finest. |

I like it!
Dropmember DB-4,...;) |
Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
Will the DM-DB4 come with a soft grip handle for easy install?
|
Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
Dough slicer eh? And here I was thinking an Arby's meat slicer from the adds. Really? Really?
|
Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
Never did I think I would see debate about a Porterbuilt DM and cheese/dough when I signed up here :uhmk: lol
Since the question was asked... I like the DM because of the improvements in ride quality, performance and ease of installation. As an added bonus you get the coolest stance on the market imo! If installed correctly, even with an LS swap, this thing is a cinch for any novice to install! I'm clear proof of that. It has altered the way I look at life!! :chevy: *** Now Amazon thinks I'm in the market for a new cheese slicer... *** |

I'm quite new to this forum and am still sweating this ride Attachment 1060069
Of course, I want get this low but I would like to know what kind of ride I can expect with the PB mild front and rear dropmembers (on bags). I have a low mile 5.3L (2008) and 4L70E I plan to drop-in soon. I'm looking to DD this ride until the wheels fall off (20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear). I look forward to feedback. |
Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
Once the wheels fall-off, I'll just purchase a new set :truck::truck:

There are several board members running the Dropmembers and if you look through some of the threads regarding feedback on ride quality and handeling you will be able to firshand all the positive feedback. The mild rear is essentially the same kit as the extreme rear that is installed in the orange truck, the only difference is that the notch is a few inches shorter. The ride quality of these two kits is the same. With the sleeved bags mounted outboard of the frame and off the rear of the axle, it doesn't get much better. The Mild and Touring front have a different geometry than the Extreme version installed in the orange truck but yield a similar ride quality. It is a little hard to explain in words, but the most common response we get is that "it rides better than my new truck" and of course we all know it looks so much cooler! ;) A few members that actively participate on the forum, and have logged thousands of miles on our kits, that I am sure would be happy to give you feedback, are Dino, N2Billett, Delmo, and Mason... and I am pretty sure Lolife99 went for a pretty fun ride in one of our Dropmember Equipped trucks. He can give you his opinion as well. Nate |
Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
I've logged-in to posts on this form a few members listed in the thread, which is what motivated me to roll my 1967 C-10 lowered and on bag. Thanks for the response PB and those members who have posted enlightening threads.:chevy:

Re: Porterbuilt Dropmember
I apologize for complaining. I definetly don't want to offend anyone. Ok so on to the questions. Who's truck if your allowed to say and do they have a build thread. Ok that was 2 questions. When are we going to see pics of your own truck? If your not building one right now than when and what?
