We did abut 10 miles. It runs great!! Steering is tight, good shifting and has plenty of get up and go. The rear end has a little noise but i expected that and the exhaust needs a little quieter set of mufflers and run out from under the bed. Gauges go in next!

Been lighting the road on fire with it this week! Its been driven about every day. Drove it 60 miles round trip to work on Friday on the interstate. 65-75 MPH and it did great. Found one leak and a few things to tighten down and we seem good. RUNS GREAT!

Good looking work truck there. I know you are trying to widen the front track to fill the fenders with those wheels but I was wondering if your having any strange steering with the SRW wheels on the DRW hubs, that seems like a ton of tire scrub and might make it handle funky. I have ran the drw hubs on srw pickups but only so I could get away with the 7" backspacing hummer H1 wheels. Maybe when you go to the newer spindle you could get a set of longer A arms fabbed (like the long travel trucks) to push the wheels out but be able to run DRW wheels all around again?

Steers like a champ. No scrub, tracking or offset issues. No change or alterations needed

We are at about 500 miles. This thing runs great! Im so pleased with it so far. Shake down has only shown a few things and they were fixed immediately.
The third member it came with was noisy so I swapped it out with one in inventory and and an oil cooler line that was leaking was replaced. Today we plan on finishing off the stereo system to include the header speaker system and working on the gauges...factory and aftermarket. I look forward to seeing how the Speedhut speedo converter works!!

For any of you local Atlanta guys we will be at "Caffeine and Ferraris" (Octane) tomorrow morning and I plan on driving it with something strapped on its back.

Had some fun this morning at Caffeine and Octane. The old wedge found favor with the promoters of the event!! Look for it coming soon on Caffeine and Octane TV.

Nothing to report this weekend. We are gathering parts for the AC and hunting new tires. I should have all the gauges finished next weekend.

I ordered that one first and sent it back. I wanted the GPS. I should have it in this weekend.

We spent the day working on the gauge wiring. Factory tach, fuel gauge, along with the others and mounted the speedometer box and started to wire it. Getting it ready for the Street Rod Nationals in Louisville.
