The pictures were taken at the Carlile truck show. REALLY NICE RIG! I saw it at night, the thing had lights everywhere, even in the wheel wells. The large lights on the side of the trailor shine on the Suburban as it drives down the road.

Here's the newest to my growing hobby, 1969 burb. I bought it as a stock sitting low on 7:50-15 tires, staight 6 manual steering and brakes. Been busy. Now rides on 6" soft ride springs, GM crate small block, power steering with cross over hooked to a dana 60. The rear got switched to a 14 bolt, also with disc brakes and new power booster. I just had to have a BURB!!!

I like this Burb........Welcome to the board!

Here's a 1969 suburban I just bought this week. I wasn't even looking for another one, I just happened to see the CL ad and finally went to check it out 2 weeks later. It was such a great find I HAD to buy it.

I bought it from the original owner! He even gave me the original sales reciept from October 1968 when he bought it. Totally 100% original from the radio, to the engine and tranny, and rust free. He even gave me the original rims.

I am planning on keeping it pretty much as you see it. It runs and drives amazing, so i'm just going to leave the drive train alone (for now). I do want to lower it and either put the original wheels back on or some nice looking 20" wheels (I like the boss 338's, but I would have to convert it to a 5 lug). Eventually I'll redo the interior to look like it did back in 1969

Like the wheels bud.....I was under the impression that they were hard to fit on the old rigs. Did you have to do anything special to get them to fit? Nice rig though

They are a 17 or 18 inch bolt on.

I thought the newer rims didn`t go over the older hubs. Good to know.
