Lefty myself. a left-handed strat and a right-handed restrung upside down martin hd-28. I inherited the martin from my dad who wore it out. I had the neck reset and fingerboard sanded down a refretted. The martin is a a great sounding guitar:chevy:

I bought a Fender Strat MIM because it was cheap. Looks like new and had the pickups changed. The guitar sounds great, unlike my playing.

I wish I would inherit a Martin.

I did however inherit the lefty thing, but my first grade teacher and mother wouldn't let me write left handed so now I am ambidextrous.

Me, too. I'm pretty much equally clumsy with both hands

Re: Random Photos ‘You took’

:chevy:For the money the strat squire is a good beginner guitar. mine was made in asia. The made in mexico strats may be of better quality . The martin hd-28 I may have inherited but i have over a grand into the rebuild. It was really unplayable until then. The finger board was badly worn. I do everything left-handed. Nobody will steal your golf cubs or your guitar.

I'm surprised to see so many lefty's on here. My wife is/was a lefty. She said that they beat it out of her. She uses her right hand now. But her handwriting is sloppy.

I just remember when I started school. Everyone had blue scissors and mine were green and said lefty on them.

My new guitar. Like I needed another. But it was inexpensive and plays great. And it came with a nice case. I got a good deal on it. Now I have 8 guitars. Yes it is left handed. I'm wrong handed. Call me Lefty.

Left handed guitar's are tougher to find. :waah:

I'd like to sing but I've been told that it sounds like animals being tortured when I do.

Well, not musical or guitar related, but this is random right? I had to make up these caps for some parapet walls on an old brick building. Never got pictures installed.

Nice work Tim . Always wanted to get a metal brake

Thanks. They are great to have. That one isn't mine. This aluminum was .040". That brake is for heavier bending and is 14'6" long. I have an 8'6", 10'6", and a 12'6". I think .032 (heavier gutter stock) is pushing it on mine. .024 is what the trim coil stock is I normally bend. That thicker metal made it harder to get a good fit on the end caps.

At home I've been re-doing the window sills at the porch roofs. The windows barely fit between the upper soffit and the roof, so the sills are integrated with the roof flashing. I've replaced the shakes with metal roof, so that's why I'm changing the sills. The way I did them before ended up holding some water, so doing some improvement on that as well.
Attachment 2060374

The rain runs fast out of the upper downspouts across the metal roof, so I made some deflectors out of the old copper drip edge

Another sunrise from work. Starting at 0500 has some benefits.

Not today, right? We're not that much farther north (46.223) and it's not even starting to get light now until about 6:30.

I took it this morning at 0700 on the dot. Things were quiet and I had time get outside and be ready to get a picture at the right moment. I kinda wish I had skipped the 2nd cup of coffee. My hands would have been steadier and focus would have been clearer.

Nice shot! It's light out going to work now that time has changed and I don't like it. Something about leaving before it's light out makes me feel like I'm more on the ball. Now I feel like I'm starting late every morning

St Johns Bridge ,, I knew a kid when I was around 12 years old that told me he stole bycycles and threw them off this bridge at almost to the end of it .He told he didnt need them any more as he was almost home ... he lived up German town area .. I lived some 50 miles down river from this bridge but ,,still this what this kid told me..

As for me ,,I used to go across this bridge to a store that sold work clothes and rain gear and boots , pretty popular in my working days to buy from this place .. Bridge brings back memeories ,, thx

Duke. Caught red handed destroying what's left of the arm chair. He eats furniture. Notice the steel door. That's the only way I still get mail delivered.
