i already got the stuff to make it a 2wd(the front suspension)....i like it to... from what my buddy says that i got the hole thing from said theres eather 4.11or 4.88 he cant remember :m6:............................couple things wrong with that is im not a supporting member, your to far away, an im going to try to convert it from 6 lug to 5 lug

Only update i have to the truck is last night i put in some 6x9 speakers behind the seat now for the dash speakers

ohhh it's a 6 lug 12 bolt.

We tried finding one around here, perfect ratio for us too lol 4.10 or bigger. I think all you need is 5 lug axles and you're set. My old man ended up settling for some 3.90 gears to put in his 10 bolt. he tried to find a rear end around here and didn't have much luck. We did have a 12 bolt 5 lug with 4.11's in it, it got scrapped with another truck. Now we wished we had it LOL.

Do me a favor though man, get lots of pics and details when making this frame a 2wd one. I may be doing the same thing soon. I'm actually trying to find a cab and frame to build my own truck and the frame I get may be 4x4.

I'd also try and save the leaf spring hangers and stuff other ppl may be looking for them or need them.

trust me i save every thing i get for these truck down to the little screw i will make sour i do take pics of the swap its just going to be a few weeks till the build gets any further ( SCHOOL) and it getting cold to

i will have to see what my dad says. right now im looking a a shorty truck and i might want to sell the rear end... so i can make some money for the truck......

Don't know if you have to paint it, that's just the way I did mine. Could probably have it rechromed.

i was trying to move a riding lawnmower so i could take it to cmc an the truck slipped and i hit the frame so i want get a doner truck real cheep and us the bed for my truck and use this bed for a trailer.. im thinking 73-80 parts truck for the front clip and bed idk tho

only thing is that i dont have any body tools to fix it nor the money and thats y im selling thing to get a roller for parts. idk im just want to have a trailer bed to match cuz lately iv needed it
