I was about to say the same thing! Did you body fill, or dig out the seam filler and weld/grind?

Thanks, we dug it out and filled it in would have welded but no one felt secure in doing it

have not got a lot done in the physical but I bought my fuel cell a borrowed idea (http://www.73-87.com/7387garage/chas...ellinstall.htm) I'm also ordering a KP 6-link from Travis @ pro. in the next few days

Good luck on the fuel cell install! I know you can do it. And in the meantime, it looks like a great place for your son to play with his own trucks on!:lol:

LOOKS GOOD! What way did you go on the heads, did you have the spring seats reamed or did you use offset keepers so they can handle the hot cam?

Went with the keepers and beehive springs we will see how well it holds.
