Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
Ive been wondering about my harley fitting into panel also. I'll have to measure the Road King Custom,I know the springer will fit its been lowered to minimum height and has dragbars .Well it will fit if its not to ong the 42 degree rake and 3 inche extended rear swing arm might be problem.
If the road king would fit its be great for bike rally camp out of panel and not have to tow a trailer. I normally ride no matter where they are but with wife shes not up for 1800 miles riding in the ***** seat |

Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
Thanks guys, yea it's been for sale on/off for awhile now,but i know i'll regret selling her.Had a 67'panel in 93' but she meet up with a big oak tree from the black ice that formed, hit it dead center just rear of pass door. Now i'm keeping this one, with absolutely zero rust anywhere,i'll never find another.Hey scotto0609,know of any 69-72 blazers for sale on the island,or parts junkies?

Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
Nice panel.Actually its same color mine was originaly. I'm thinking about going to same color when I get finished with restoration and updates.
Awsome piece for knowledge sake and if you don't mind what are you asking for it? |
Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
The only yard I know is d&d out in bellport but those trucks are few and $. Wouldnt have happened to see my old 67 panel around{4x4,big block,4 speed,lt green}? Wish I never sold it. For a while there !5 -20 years ago I would have told you to come on down,I used to part these things as a side job!

Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
I stop in at d+d every now&then.I never saw that panel, was it factory 4x4?sounds like a cool ride.I thought about converting mine, but the ride is nice now

Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
No it was a 6 cylinder 3ott that I put on a 69 sub 4x4 frame. It was rotted, oops i mean it had patina,in all the right places! If I ever find another one for the right price I will do it again as my beach buggy!

Re: pls post pixs of 67-72 Panels
Yes, its the one from Fontana. I had taken pictures of the complete build to this point. My daughter borrowed the camera from my wife and deleted all the pictures. :o I'll be sure to post some pictures this spring when some of this snow melts.
