!

I did some surveying tonight and I think I have my fuel system mounting and routing solution. I need to build a bracket and get a few more fittings, but I think that part is figured out! Took a couple of pics with the hood on. Might put the bed on tomorrow, if so, I'll post more pics... laters for know!

Did some work with the fuel delivery tonight, pics included. Need to build the return line and install cushion clips. Once the rear portion is done, should be Saturday, I will put the bed on. :metal:

Short ride from my folks place to my house. Man that thing filled up my small garage in a hurry!

Did you do an axle swap to your original '68 6-lug rearend?
Or swap to a 71-72 rearend?

I did the axle swap using ECE axles and upgraded the rear brakes to the larger 11.160 X 2.75 drums. I have a 70 rear end (longer version) with 5 lug axles too, but I think this one is going to work fine.

Re: Project "Just an Old Truck"

It looks like my buddies will be complete by this weekend! A friend of mine and I were talking and he asked about my seats. I told him that I was having trouble finding an upholsterer that would assemble them for a good price and he just laughed. Now, I've known this guy for 25 years so his response to my problem had me wondering WTH? So he says, why don't you call my cousin who does upholstery? I said I didn't know you had a cousin that does upholstery! Well, he does and hopefully I will have a set of fully assembled Buddies by the weekend!
