Hey, i have your problem. I have a 454 in my 71 and the bottom hose kinks also.. As long as its not cutting off more then 50% of the water your fine... Mines not kinked to bad, but just annoying.

Thanks.... Josh was that talking about last weekend or this coming... haha. Nah, I'm not doing anything else until I get the hood on and the truck back to the body shop for wet sanding.

I was having trouble installing the new vintage air servo controls... until I spoke to Ken Gould at
Wayment Mfg.

Filer,Id 83328

This what he's come up with thus far... not a completed product, will post pictures once completed and installed.

NWD02,

Please, please could we see some good pics of that blue in the daylight?

Thank you for your trouble,
Charles

Re: Finally seeing some progress...

I will as soon as it's back from the body shop. I haven't forgotten about you. The body shop isn't close either or I'd go take some.

Re: Finally seeing some progress...

Thanks Dude.
After seeing your truck, I am really thinking to paint my GTO that color!
Can't seem to find a good picture of it anywhere in the WWW. Got a bunch, but they are all Corvette's and the body lines on them give you a false impression of what it will look like on a flatter panel such as what your Truck and my GTO have.

Re: Finally seeing some progress...

Nick, Thanks very much for the spare parts. They were in much better shape than I was expecting. If you ever need anything don't hesitate to ask. Once I get the burban legal I will bring it by so I can see your truck in person. Looking forward to seeing more of your progress. Harlan

Re: Finally seeing some progress...

Thanks Harlan... it's been really cool meeting so many nice board members. I have other people to talk trucks with, because my wife sure is tired of hearing it... haha.

Re: Finally seeing some progress...

I know exactly what you mean!! By the way I told my wife about your wife saying the suburbans looked like hearses and she agreed. Thats fine with me; that just means that whenever I get it fixed up I won't have to worry about her saying it looks "cute".

Re: Finally seeing some progress...

Just an update... My truck went from the body shop to the painter. Everything has been lined up and they had to fix a few things with the body work (passenger door). Now it's getting a few spots fixed, wet sanded and buffed. Will post pics hopefully this Saturday of it home.
